ALEX Battle continued his productive pre-season by scoring a hat-trick for the Pilgrims' Academy side in a 4-0 win at Bridgwater Town.

Second-year apprentice Alex, who previously netted twice in a senior squad match at Tavistock, was joined by Billy Craske on the scoresheet against Southern League Division One South and West opposition.
 
The win for Kevin Hodges' Young Greens followed a 2-2 draw against the Royal Marines at Lympstone in which Luke Jephcott and Ryan Law scored.
