Cooper the Lion

ARGYLE Academy goalkeeper Michael Cooper has been invited to a prestigious England Men's Goalkeeping Camp.

First-year apprentice Cooper has been with Argyle since 2009, coming through the club's Exeter Centre of Excellence. As a 16-year-old schoolboy he made appearances for Argyle's under-18 side, and accepted an apprenticeship earlier this year.

Michael, schooled at Plymouth College, will head to St George's Park on August 10-11, along with promising young goalkeepers from all over the country.
