WHILE nine new first-teamers have arrived at Home Park for the new Sky Bet League Two season, another nine youngsters are setting out on the latest leg of their own Pilgrimage.

The Argyle Academy has welcomed nine new apprentices – Michael Cooper, Billy Craske, Elliott Crawford, Harry Downing, Harry Hodges, Luke Jephcott, Ryan Law, Cameron Sangster, Matthew Ward – to its ranks for 2016-17.

This week, they signed the forms that saw them take the next step on the road to their ultimate ambition of graduating to the senior ranks, following in the studmarks of current professionals Luke McCormick, Ben Purrington, Louis Rooney and Gary Sawyer.
