Peninsula Preview - Liskeard v Argyle

ARGYLE take their Peninsula League side to Liskeard Athletic for an intriguing encounter under the floodlights on Tuesday night.

The Pilgrims battled to a 1-0 win over Porthleven on the weekend, while Liskeard were denied all three points after a dramatic fightback from Millbrook saw them earn a 3-3 draw with two late goals.
 
It was a climax that certainly left Liskeard feeling very aggrieved and Argyle will need to be wary of a wounded animal at Lux Park, but our priority will be on securing the win that would lift the Greens above Penryn to second in the Division 1 West table.
