NHS Health Check

...as we welcome a dedicated NHS Health Check Clinic, provided by One You Plymouth, to the Argyle experience.

We all reach a certain age when things need a check-up - your car, your laptop…yourself. Even if you’re feeling well a FREE NHS Health Check can keep you in top condition.                                               

You might not be aware of the risks of heart disease, stroke, kidney disease and diabetes – but the warning signs could be there.

An NHS Health Check is available if you are between 40 and 74 and involves a few questions and measurements, including a simple blood test to check your cholesterol. Afterwards you’ll receive personalised advice on how to stay healthy and active.

The Livewell Southwest Wellbeing Team is offering FREE NHS Health Check at Plymouth Argyle Home Matches on Saturday 10th December, Saturday 14th January and Saturday 28th January.

We have time slots for the first eight applicants to receive a free health check. Appointments start at 10.30am and the session finishes at 2.30pm. The full health check is by pre-appointment only and you can book your place by calling 01752 437177. 

Based in the Pilgrim Centre next to the main reception at Home Park, supporters are invited to join us for a full health check or just visit our ‘Know Your Measurements Stand’ to learn about your fat percentage and tips to help you fit the fat. 

Come and visit our ‘Know Your Measurements Stand’ in the Pilgrim Centre. Space is limited in this area but we will see as many people as possible in the build up to kick-off.
