Officially Ross

ROSS Joyce will be the referee when Argyle visit Stevenage on Saturday.

Now in his second season as an EFL official, Ross has been the man in the middle once before in an Argyle fixture. He was the referee when the Pilgrims met Luton Town at Kenilworth Road last season. Argyle won the game 2-1, thanks to a late Ryan Brunt winner, while Luton had Ryan Hall sent off in controversial circumstances, for two cautions.

Hall’s dismissal was one of six issued by Joyce last season. He also showed 106 yellow cards in his 29 fixtures. This term, Ross has taken charge of 13 games, showing 56 yellow cards and three reds. He has given four penalties.
