The Pilgrims passed the ball sweetly in the early stages at Coach Road and deservedly took the lead through Louis Rooney. Godolphin had no answer to their fluent young hosts, who were in complete control by half-time.

Alex Battle scored twice to make it 3-0, one of which came after a fabulous team move, and Argyle took their foot of the gas in the early stages of the second period.

Godolphin kept plugging away but got no reward for their brief spell of possession, and Rooney banged in number four to confirm the points, with Luke Jephcott adding some late gloss for the Greens.
