Peninsula Report - Argyle 2 Launceston 0

A POWERFUL Argyle unit proved too much for a very good Launceston side in the Peninsula League on Tuesday evening.

The Pilgrims took the chance to get some game-time for the likes of Aaron Taylor-Sinclair, Jakub Sokolik, Jamie Ness, Ruben Lameiras and Gregg Wylde, and it was two of our senior professionals who made the difference.

Ness and Sokolik hit the target, but Launceston defended stoically to always stay in the game, with former Argyle youngster Cory Harvey making a string of good saves, including one from a Lameiras penalty.
