Arnie's Argyle Army

FIVE lucky Pilgrims each won a ticket to see Liverpool v Argyle on Sunday - for free - thank to Argyle loan striker Arnie Garita.

Arnie made them work for their freebies - on Thursday he dashed across Plymouth to hide five vouchers, entitling those who find them to cash them in for a precious ticket for the clash at Anfield, in the third round of the Emirates FA Cup.

We posted clues to the whereabouts of the tickets on our social media channels - Twitter, Facebook and Instagram - and here on pafc.co.uk.

We were joined on the hunt by BBC cameras, who chronicled the day. They were also present as Arnie presented the winners with their tickets at Home Park on Friday. Keep your eye on BBC Spotlight on Friday evening to see more of Arnie's Treasure Hunt!

Congratulations to all of our winners: Jason Peters, who found a clue in Devonport Park's Bandstand; Chloe Warren, who spotted the clue on the bench near Smeaton's Tower, on Plymouth Hoe; Jess Riches, who found her golden ticket on former Argyle Director the late Michael Foot's bench in Freedom Fields; Matt Hurst, who was first to the pick left behind reception at the BBC in Seymour Road; and Josh Smith, who went hot-footed through Central Park to get the voucher by the clock.

Matt, an Argyle Member, already had a ticket for the game, and generously donated the ticket to Tommy Clift, who was beaten to finding a clue by Matt by only 30 seconds!

Thanks to all who joined in, whether you won or not. It was all good fun!

And, of course, thank you to Arnie - merci beaucoup, Arnie.
