Our Post-16 Level 3 BTEC- Plymouth Argyle F.C Development Squad pathway is delivered at Paignton Community & Sports Academy, starting September 2017.

The course is delivered over two years and the qualification is the equivalent to three A-levels within Sport. Alongside the academic course delivered by PE specialists at PCSA you will be part of the Argyle development squad. This includes daily coaching sessions with Argyle coaches as well as a match each week in the British College’s league to compliment your studies.

Over the coming weeks we will be holding two invitational trial matches for potential applicants to attend. These matches are taking place at PCSA’s Waterleat Road site 3G Astro pitch on the following dates:
Thursday, May 18 - 3.15pm-5.00pm (K.O- 3.30pm)
Thursday, May 25 - 3.15pm-5.00pm (K.O- 3.30pm)

You will be supplied with an official PAFC club kit, shirt, socks and shorts for the games to play in. You do however need to ensure you have suitable, shinpads and boots/astro trainers. As well as this ensure you have plenty to drink and any medical essentials required for exercise e.g. Asthma inhaler.

In addition to the Argyle coaching staff running the trial match there will also be members of the PCSA PE faculty present to answer any questions you may have about the academic qualification and programme of study the course includes.
You are able to apply online for the pathway prior to and after the trial matches. Please use the following link to access the application page on the PCSA 6th form website: http://aspirefutures.org/apply-here/
