Hello, Lolos

Greek Striker Earns Apprenticeship with Academy

20 October 2017

KLAIDI Lolos is the most recent signing for the Argyle Academy.

The Greek striker started his football journey at Olympiakos from the age of 9. At age 11, his family relocated to the United Kingdom, where he had trials at Liverpool, Norwich, and Reading before choosing to sign a two-year Academy contract with Crystal Palace until he was 16.

He was scouted by Academy Director Kevin Hodges and Head of Recruitment Chris Harrison during an Under-18 friendly against the Pilgrims and invited down for a trial during this pre-season.

He made his debut in the Youth Alliance League match against Swindon where he scored as part of a very assured performance.

His continuous strong displays impressed the coaches enough for him to earn himself an apprenticeship.

We wish Lolos the best of luck and look forward to seeing his progress at Plymouth Argyle.
