Peninsula Report - Argyle 4 Millbrook 3

A FABULOUS game of football at Coach Road, as a very young Argyle team were pushed all the way by Millbrook on Friday night.

Rubin Wilson, one of eight 16 year-olds for thee Pilgrims involved, opened the scoring for the Pilgrims, but Millbrook responded with a goal from Rikki Shepherd. The lead was restored by Alex Battle thundering a shot in off the bar but Tom Payne levelled again with an excellent penalty.

Argyle went back in front for a third time thanks to an Adam Randall header, only for Payne to equalise and complete a breathless first period. The game was heading for extra time when Wilson popped up again with a winner 10 minutes from the end.
