LUKE Jephcott scored twice as Argyle eased to a 4-1 St Luke's Challenge Cup first round victory at Barnstaple on Tuesday night.
The win was achieved despite the Pilgrims being reduced to ten men after forward Nathan Blissett was sent off in the 14th minute.
By that time, Blissett had put Argyle ahead in the seventh minute, with Alex Battle adding a second in the 12th minute.
Jephcott made it 3-0 in the 25th minute before Barnstaple pulled one back before half-time through Jordan Charran.
The scoring was completed midway through the second period, when Jephcott grabbed his second.
