MARCH might have been a short month in terms of games - after the visit to Rochdale was postponed - but it was long on goals, with eight being scored in the four matches played.

Scorers of seven of those strikes feature in our Argyle Player of the Month poll, where the Green Army can vote for the Pilgrim who they think deserves special recognition.

We have again nominated four players whose contribution to the cause during March was especially noteworthy and ask supporters to select – via our Twitter account, @Only1Argyle – the one that really stands out for them.

This month, again, we could have put forward any quartet from a squad that took seven points from a possible 12 to keep the Pilgrims into the Sky Bet League One play-off zone.

In the end, we plumped for this quality quartet:

Graham Carey: four appearances, three goals (against Bristol Rovers and Southend), one assist.

Ruben Lameiras: four appearances, two goals (against Southend), one assist.

Jamie Ness: four appearances, two goals (against Bristol Rovers).

Ryan Taylor: four appearances, one assist.

The poll closes at 11am on Thursday, April 5.
