LUKE McCormick announced via his Instagram page on Friday night that he would be leaving Argyle at the end of the season.
After 347 appearances for Argyle, Luke will be departing the club that he has called home for most of his professional career.
Luke make his debut as a 17-year-old, in a 0-0 draw against Rochdale, and as it turns out, his final game was against Bradford City on December 2, 2017.
As you will be able to tell from viewing the 20-minute interview, Luke leaves on amicable terms, excited for the next phase of his career. He also speaks about his favourite games, team-mates, coming back as an Oxford player, and his ongoing relationship with the fans.
In an emotional send off on Saturday, as the playing squad made a lap of appreciation of Home Park, Luke's name was chanted throughout by the Devonport end, including a chant of 'Luke McCormick - he's one of our own'.
On behalf of everyone at Home Park, thank you Luke for being a superb goalkeeper, a brilliant captain, and a friend. We wish you luck wherever you end up, and you will always be welcome at Home Park.
