Youth Report - Argyle 3 Yeovil 2

ARGYLE’S youngsters recorded their fourth EFL Youth Alliance Merit League Two victory with this success over Yeovil Town at Home Park.

elliott Richards and Klaidi Lolos gave Argyle a first half lead, before Yeovil drew level after the break. Billy Craske, though, struck a winner 20 minutes from time to give the young Greens the victory.

The home side started slowly and were give a shot in the arm when the Glovers hit Michael Cooper's post.

Argyle replied with Crawford hitting the visitor's crossbar on 20 minutes and the Argyle central defender had better luck when he sent a right-foot drive home at the far post.

It was 2-0 on 35 minutes as a swift counter-attack ended with Matt Ward firing against the bar for Klaidi Lolos to supply a clinical finish from the rebound.

Lolos was replaced by Reuben Wilson for the start of the second half but it was the Glovers who started strongly and goals from Neville Nzenambela and Brad Cherret saw them draw level.

Argyle, to their credit, did not let their heads drop, and regained their lead, 19 minutes from time, as Billy Craske crashed the ball into the roof of the net from the edge of the area.
