Live TV Sport at Home Park

Bumper Line-up of Action in Tribute Lounge

2 February 2018

HOME Park is your new home of live sport.

The Theatre of Greens has always been home to Argyle, of course, and, this Saturday, we host Sky Bet League One hotshots Blackburn Rovers with new signing Moses Makasi set to make his Pilgrims' bow.

The two teams
drew 1-1 at Ewood Park earlier in the season so Argyle will be looking to go one better and build on last Saturday's superb victory at Oldham Athletic last week.

The football does not stop with the referee's final whistle, though.

After the game, we are opening the doors and the bars of the Tribute Legends Lounge and Players’ Lounge to screen BT Sport’s coverage of the Arsenal v Everton Premier League clash, which kicks off at 5.30pm.

Immediately after that Emirates encounter, the action moves to the Players’ Lounge, where we will be showing Real Madrid’s La Liga game at Levante on Sky Sports, giving live rock/punk covers band
Barracoodas time to set up for their 9pm gig in the Tribute.

That is just the start of the weekend action.

On Sunday, the Tribute Legends Lounge will be screening Sky’s Premier League double-header, with Crystal Palace taking on Newcastle United in a 2.15pm kick-off, followed by the top-of-the-table match-up between Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur from Anfield.

Rugby Union fans are catered for, too, with England’s opening match in this year’s Six Nations Championship, away to Italy, being shown on ITV, kick-off 3pm.

Then, on Monday, it is back to the Tribute Legends Lounge and Sky’s Premier League coverage of Watford against Chelsea, which kicks off at 8pm.

This weekend is only the beginning of a jam-packed month of live televised sport action at Home Park, with other highlights being Champions’ League coverage of Chelsea v Barcelona and Sevilla v Manchester United on Tuesday-Wednesday February 20-21, and the Carabao Cup final between Arsenal and Manchester City on Sunday, February 25.

In all, between February 3-26, we will be showing:

13 Premier League matches;
3 Champions League clashes;
2 Sky Bet Championship games;
2 Six Nations rugby meetings;
1 La Liga head-to-head; and
The Carabao Cup final.

The best part of it? Admission to all the televised games are absolutely free.

You can find full details of when and where every game is being shown at www.pafc.co.uk/livesport

And, if you want to enjoy a drink or two whole watching the sport, why not book yourself a Tower Cabs taxi to take you to and from Home Park?

You can call them on 01752 25 25 25, or visit their website, www.towercabs.co.uk.

However, the best way to contact Tower Cabs is through their app which enables you to book your cab; save your favourite pick-up points; and track your vehicle in real time once the vehicle has been despatched. It will also show details of the cab, such as make and registration. It is available from iPhone and Android app stores or from http://app.lk/TowerCabs.
