ARGYLE manager Derek Adams has been nominated for the Sky Bet League One manager of the month award for December.
In December, Adams stuck to his tactics and believed in his squad seeing the Pilgrims pick up 11 points from their five games. The excellent run of results saw the Greens climb from bottom of the table to four points clear of the relegation zone.
Argyle could have easily won all five matches if it wasn’t for two late goals which saw them pick up a point at Rotherham and Blackpool. The Greens’ excellent run has continued in January with the two wins from the first two matches of the year.
Adams has competition for the award from:
Paul Hurst- Shrewsbury Town have also picked up 11 points from their five matches seeing them stay in the top two in the division.
Kenny Jackett – Portsmouth picked up four wins from their five games, losing the other. That form has seen them difficult to beat at home and pushing for a play-off spot.
Paul Warne – Rotherham manager has guided his team to 13 points, including a draw against Argyle, in the month of December from their six matches seeing them stabilise after a wobbly few weeks.
The winner will be announced on Friday, January 12.
