A YOUNG Argyle side resoundingly beat Barnstable in their latest pre-season fixture, with Alex Fletcher and Aaron Goulty both hitting the net twice, while Klaidi Lolos and Luke Jephcott rounded off the goals.
Fletcher found the woodwork twice before actually opening the scoring on 25 minutes. Again his effort hit the post, but this time rebounded off of the goalkeeper and in.
Jephcott doubled the lead three minutes before the interval with a curling effort from just inside the area.
The remaining four goals came in 15 second half minutes. Goulty slotted home on 51 minutes after a swift counter attack, before Fletcher added his second just before the hour mark with an accurate header for 4-0.
Eight minutes later Goulty made it five at the back post after getting on the end of a Jephcott cross, and to round off the scoring just one minute after his introduction from the subs bench, Klaidi Lolos hammered home a 20 yard drive.
