advice to fans pre Doncaster H

SATURDAY’S Sky Bet League One game against Doncaster Rovers will see a Home Park first – players from both sides will enter and exit the field of play from the corner of the Devonport end and Lyndhurst Road side.

With the demise of the Mayflower prior to renovation of the grandstand – the tunnel disappeared altogether earlier this week – the players are using the new temporary dressing-rooms outside the top end of Home Park and will come on to the pitch by way of the large vehicle access gate.

Naturally, that route will be out of use for spectators.

The club can assure supporters that, while this change might be an inconvenience, it has no effect on their safety – if people leave by their nearest exit, everyone will be able to get out in the time specified within the relevant regulations. In the highly unlikely eventuality that we need to evacuate the stands in an emergency, we can also use the pitch as an alternative means of exit.

In the ever-changing world at the Theatre of Greens, we thought it would be a good idea to alert you of some of the other match-day arrangements.

The grandstand side of Home Park is closed for the entirety of the 2018-19 season, and space in the club’s Higher Home Park Car-Park is severely restricted and for permit-holders only.

The game kicks off at 3pm. However, given the closure of the grandstand, it would help you, and us, if you could please arrive early.

We have opened up two new turnstiles for home supporters at the Devonport end of Home Park. Admission for all home supporters is by ticket only; they will need to purchase a ticket from the Ticket Office, which is open from 9am on match-day.

VIP guests will be able to collect their tickets from the Life Centre; all other people collecting tickets – apart from away fans – should do so from one of two collection windows at the Ticket Office.

Please make sure you sit in the seat that corresponds to the number on your ticket. Anyone found in a seat or an area where they should not be could be ejected from the ground.

There is a cash turnstile for away supporters at the Barn Park end, where they will also be able to find tickets for collection.

Turnstiles to the Devonport end, Lyndhurst Road side and Barn Park end all open at 1.30pm.

For non-ticketing enquiries, match-day reception is now situated in the Argyle Superstore.

There is free car-parking in the Outland Road car-park adjacent to the ground, but this will fill up very early. Street parking in the area is available, but please take care to note local restrictions. Our advice is to use public transport whenever possible.

We appreciate the patience and understanding of the Green Army as everyone adapts and gets used to new arrangements.
