ARGYLE kicked-off their busy weekend of football with an impressive 6-0 victory over Ivybridge Town in the Carlsberg South-West Peninsula League.
The scoring began on 15 minutes, when Joe Seery threaded a tidy pass to Alex Battle, who finished in style but the Pilgrims were then grateful to goalkeeper Michael Cooper for two super blocks.
Battle turned provider for number two, feeding Luke Jephcott to steer home a quality goal. The scoring attention soon turned back to Battle for the third from 16 yards.
Argyle maintained their dominance after the break and a cross from Harry Hodges fell loose to Cameron Sangster for a close-range finish. Jephcott added further gloss with a curling finish on the hour and the victory was completed via an own goal.
