Support Your Team

MATCH-DAY is THE day if you are in the Green Army.

And going to Home Park to watch your team in action is just about the perfect way to spend THE day.

Or is it?

While we think the match-day experience for supporters visiting the Theatre of Greens is pretty good, we also think it could be better.

When we started asking how we could improve that experience, one thought kept coming back to us: the fans.

You.

It is your club.

No-one knows Argyle like the Green Army.

No-one is more passionate about Argyle than the Green Army.

No-one is prouder of Argyle than the Green Army.

Which is why we are asking you – the Green Army – to help us enrich the enjoyment of your fellow fans.

We are looking for volunteers who would like to become a Home Park Host, spreading the Green Gospel and enhancing the match-day experience for fans.

We are seeking support in a wide variety of newly created match-day positions across various departments at the club, from Corporate Hospitality to Ticketing, Media to Disability Support.

Among the Home Park Host roles we are looking to fill with volunteer helpers are: greeting supporters and club guests; assisting in corporate hospitality areas; helping with ticket collections; conducting stadium tours; liaising with home and away supporters; looking after the media; and being a focal point for disability issues.

Home Park Hosts will need to: have excellent communication skills; possess a friendly and engaging personality; be firm, but fair; have a smart and professional appearance; be a first-class listener; act with confidence; be pro-active; and, of course, know all about the past, present and future of Argyle.

Times of engagement vary across the different Home Park Host roles. On a Saturday, some volunteers will start at 9am, and some as late as midday; some will finish around kick-off time at 3pm, and others at around 6pm.

For a weekday game, some Home Park Hosts will be required from 3pm, others from 5pm; some will finish around kick-off time, and others by 11pm at the latest.

Please get in touch for more details of all the Home Park Host roles for which we are seeking volunteers, including timings.

If you wish to apply for any of the roles – listed in full below – please email recruitment@pafc.co.uk, telling us in which role you are interested, and including a CV and a short covering letter explaining your suitability.
