ARGYLE manager Ryan Lowe will be appearing on Sky Sports’ nightly chat show, The Debate, on Wednesday evening.
His appearance follows the events over the last 48 hours at Gigg Lane, where Bury FC have been expelled from the EFL following a failed takeover attempt.
Ryan, as it turned out, was the Shakers’ manager in their last full season in the EFL, guiding them to automatic promotion from Sky Bet League Two despite ongoing financial issues in the background which led to many of the first-team squad going unpaid for several months.
Ryan said: "Obviously, I am very sad. As people know, I played for Bury, and me and my staff spent worked there, and were successful there last season, so it is a place close to my heart.
"So, to see what has happened to the club, the people who work there, and the supporters, is heartbreaking.
"Argyle experienced similar circumstances a few years ago but everyone rallied around, they regrouped, and now we are in a good place, moving in the right direction.
"I hope that Bury can do the same and come back stronger."
Sky Sports subscribers can watch The Debate, hosted by Geoff Shreeves, live at 10.15pm on Sky Sports Main Event, Sky Sports Premier League, or Sky Sports Football.
