Mascot for Tonight

WE would like to welcome Evan Gale and his family for this evening’s first ever visit of Salford City, and what will be the youngster’s first taste of a game under the lights at the Theatre of Greens. We would like to wish Evan a very happy 10th birthday today.

His dad, Kevin, let us know that Evan was unaware of his imminent visit to Home Park- he only found out as part of a surprise birthday present this morning. Along with his new Argyle kit, there was a note explaining that he will lead out the Greens tonight. 

Kevin said: “Evan is a massive Argyle fan, despite being born in Bath and growing up in Paulton, I managed to convince him at an early age that Argyle are the only team worth supporting and, just like his two older brothers, he followed.

“Evan is no stranger to Home Park as we travel down for most home games but this will be his first evening game at Home Park and will be very special for him as he leads his heroes on to the pitch.”
