Argyle Loan Watch

WE take our latest look at the Pilgrims out on loan from Home Park and how they fared over the past week of football.

Alex Fletcher & Michael Peck
Fletch made the ideal start to his loan spell with Tiverton Town, picking up the man of the match award in their excellent 5-1 win at Harrow Borough in the Southern League. Michael Peck came on for the last 20 minutes, as he has also made the switch to Tivvy after a previous stint with Dorchester Town. Unfortunately, the midweek fixture against Chesham was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

Luke Jephcott & Ryan Law
Truro City remain three points above Tivvy after they also won 5-1 on Saturday, dismantling Walton Casuals at Treyew Road with a hat-trick from former Pilgrim Tyler Harvey. Both Luke Jephcott and Ryan Law came on as substitutes after an hour but the midweek game against Merthyr was postponed.

Klaidi Lolos & Tom Purrington
It has been a tougher week at Dorchester Town, where Klaidi and Tom started the weekend defeat to the Met Police but were unable to prevent the Magpies losing 3-0 on the day. It was a loss that prompted the departure of Callum Brooks as Dorchester manager.

The Magpies travelled to Gosport Borough in midweek and, while Klaidi was not involved, Tom Purrington started again and played his part in a thrilling 4-4 draw.

Ashley Smith-Brown
A frustrating period for Ash at Oldham Athletic continued with no involvement in a 1-1 draw for the Latics at home to Leyton Orient.
