AS both Argyle and Portsmouth have strong connections to the Merchant Navy, a collection will be held on Saturday in aid of maritime charity Sailors’ Society
The charity is more than 200 years old and the ideal choice for a collection in this latest edition of the Dockyard Derby in Sky Bet League One.
Keep an eye out for serving Royal Navy ratings, the Royal Navy Association members, Royal Hospital Chelsea Pensioners and Sailors’ Society team, who will be collecting at the turnstiles and hospitality areas before the game.
All the money you generously donate will go towards supporting merchant seafarers around the world.
