Trip to Exmouth
ARGYLE are scheduled to take on Exmouth Town at Southern Road in the Carlsberg South-West Peninsula League on Saturday for what will be a decisive encounter in a fascinating title race.
Exmouth are in third position behind the Pilgrims and Tavistock at the top, with our young Greens also due to play at Southern Road in the St Luke’s Challenge Cup.
Argyle begin their challenge in the Merit League next weekend and there are no games on Sunday for both Ladies’ teams. On the injury front, it is highly unlikely that top striker Natasha Knapman will play again this season after suffering a serious injury against Milton Keynes in September.
Argyle’s Development team have received good news on teenager Lucy Solloway, who has almost finished her rehab on her injured ankle, plus the re-signing of the experienced Danielle Salt, returning to football after having a baby.
