ARGYLE return to action in the EFL Youth Alliance on Wednesday afternoon, when Portsmouth visit Langsford Park in Tavistock for a 1pm kick-off.
The Pilgrims were buoyed by a fine 5-1 victory at Forest Green Rovers on the weekend, ending a run of games without victory. Klaidi Lolos and Rio Garside both bagged braces at Rovers in a fine attacking display.
Less than a fortnight ago, Argyle went down 1-0 at Portsmouth in the reverse fixture after the original tie was abandoned due to torrential rain and Wednesday’s encounter is expected to be another tight affair.
