Vote for Foxy Goal

DAVID Fox’s Boxing Day strike against Wimbledon has been nominated for December’s Sky Bet League one goal of the month competition.

It was only Foxy’s third ever goal for Argyle but certainly a special one, looping a delightful 35-yard half-volley over Dons’ keeper Tom King – a truly outrageous strike that seemed to come out of nowhere to excite the travelling Argyle supporters.

The goal put the Greens ahead before they ultimately went down 2-1 at Kingsmeadow.

Fox is up against John Marquis, of Doncaster, and McCauley Woodrow, of Barnsley, both being nominated with excellent goals over the Christmas period.

Marquis makes it onto the shortlist with an excellent 25-yard right-footed strike during Doncaster’s 4-0 victory over Bristol Rovers, while Woodrow scored an equally great goal with his effort in a 2-0 victory over Peterborough.

Foxy will need your help to win out over these great strikes, register your vote now. Voting closes on Monday, January 14.
