TUESDAY yielded a new signing, a defeat for Argyle at Torquay United but a solid victory for the youth-team, as pre-season approaches the next phase.

We started yesterday with Lilian Nalis as runner-up in your list of greatest midfielders and David Friio at the top. There is a couple of days to go to bid for an external catering position at Home Park and we went inside Torquay United.

We announced an open training session at Home Park, Callum McFadzean discussed his arrival as a Pilgrim and then it was time to welcome goalkeeper Alex Palmer. We looked at the career of Palmer and the young custodian is delighted to be Green.

A Pilgrim youth side packed with first-year apprentices defeated Chippenham 7-0, we had a full report and pictures from Torquay, and manager Ryan Lowe gave his initial reaction.

Today will bring more response from the Torquay game, a fitness update on some Pilgrims, Ryan’s view on the new goalkeeper, plans for the tour of Spain, the start of our list of greatest strikers and a whole lot more.

Subscribers to iFollow can now see the interview with new recruit Callum McFadzean. There are a variety of packages available in iFollow, allowing you to choose a subscription that works best for you. Have a look at the iFollow options.
