Derek Nominated Again
ARGYLE boss Derek Adams has been nominated for the Sky Bet League One manager of the month award for February, making it back-to-back nominations for the Gaffer, following the same accolade in January.
The Pilgrims remained unbeaten throughout February, starting with a strong away win at Peterborough - Ruben Lameiras grabbing the only goal two minutes from time against 10-man Posh, who saw Lee Tomlin ordered off in first-half stoppage time
Consecutive draws followed against Portsmouth and Bradford. At home to Portsmouth in the Dockyard Derby, Graham Carey pulled us back to 1-1 with an exquisite free kick and then a gritty 0-0 at Valley Parade.
Our final game of the month was certainly the best, and indeed our biggest win of the season so far, putting five past Rochdale in a scintillating attacking performance.
Derek joins Mick Harford (Luton Town), Daniel Stendel (Barnsley) and Jack Ross (Sunderland on the shortlist for the award.
