Weekend of Football

Four Games for the Pilgrims

15 March 2019

ARGYLE kick-off another busy weekend of football by hosting Forest Green Rovers at Tavistock for an 11am start on Saturday morning in the EFL Merit League 2.

The Pilgrims have made a positive start to this section of their youth campaign, beating Cheltenham and Cambridge in the opening two fixtures of the Merit League.

While the first-team travel to Fleetwood Town in Sky Bet League One, Argyle will welcome Falmouth Town to Coach Road in Newton Abbot on Saturday in the Carlsberg South-West Peninsula League – kick-off 3pm.

The weather has played havoc with the Peninsula schedule over recent weeks, allowing Exmouth to open up a seven-point lead at the top of the table, so a win tomorrow is crucial for Argyle.

It is then all about an intriguing Dockyard Derby at Home Park on Sunday, as Argyle Ladies host Portsmouth in the FA Women’s Premier League Southern Division – kick-off 2pm.
