FOLLOWING the summer appointment of manager Ryan Lowe, PASOTI (Plymouth Argyle Supporters On The Internet) have taken up the opportunity to sponsor the former Bury boss, who won promotion to League One with the Shakers last season.
PASOTI is the most well-known forum among all Argyle fans, where a range of all things Argyle are discussed on a daily basis. The organisation’s sponsorship is not solely exclusive to this season, their involvement extends further back, as they supported the club through its most turbulent period by sponsoring first-team players after we had emerged from administration in 2011. Now, they are only too pleased to continue the partnership with the club at the beginning of what promises to be an exciting new era for all those of a Green persuasion.
Owner of PASOTI, Ian Newell, said: “PASOTI (Plymouth Argyle Supporters on the Internet) is the oldest, largest, totally independent Argyle supporters forum. It is child friendly and libel free. PASOTI has, over the last 15 years, sponsored many players and during the post-admin period, they sponsored six players in total.”
All connected to the forum are understandably delighted to have secured the manager’s sponsorship for the 2019-20 season in Sky Bet League Two and Ian admitted he wasted very little time in agreeing the deal as he knew this was an opportunity that was simply too good to miss.
He said: “With the exciting news of Ryan Lowe’s appointment, the sponsorship deal was agreed within five minutes of the news breaking.”
