IT was an absolute pleasure to welcome a World Cup winner to Home Park for the weekend victory over Bradford City.
Snowy Dyson has been an Argyle fan for many years and was invited to join us at the Theatre of Greens after helping England win the first ever Disability Darts World Cup earlier this year.
Snowy actually threw the winning double against Wales in the final and he reached the top of the British rankings earlier this year. Nicknamed ‘The Apache’, double-amputee Snowy is a former member of the forces and it was great to have him at the game.
He has been a driving force in helping more people get into the sport, founding the Plymouth Disabled Darts League in the process. The league is played on Thursday nights, across three venues in the city.
