Palmer Nominated For PFA Fans' Award

Alex Palmer, the Pilgrims’ loanee goalkeeper of 2019/20, has been nominated for the PFA Bristol Street Motors League Two Fans’ Player of the Year Award.

Palmer, 24, kept 14 clean sheets in goal as Ryan Lowe’s Greens won automatic promotion from Sky Bet League Two last time out.

Alex, who returned to parent club West Bromwich Albion in the summer, is shortlisted alongside former Northampton Town defender Charlie Goode, former Swindon Town striker Eoin Doyle, Crewe duo Harry Pickering and Perry Ng, and Forest Green Rovers midfielder Ebou Adams.

The winner of the award is decided by supporter votes. Voting is now open, and runs until 8am on Friday, 21 August.
