Dom Back

DOM Telford is back to full fitness and adds to the selection options for Argyle manager Ryan Lowe ahead of the weekend trip to Stevenage in Sky Bet League Two.

After scoring the opening goal against Swindon on New Year’s Day, Dom hobbled off 10 minutes later and has been working hard with physio Dave Galley and Argyle’s head of fitness and conditioning John Lucas to get himself back in contention for the squad.

It leaves just three senior players recovering injury and the time-frame is getting better all the time for the recovering trio of Ryan Taylor, Callum McFadzean and Will Aimson.

“He [Telford] is fit and ready, and he will be available for Saturday,” said Ryan.

“Tayls is probably a week away, he’s out running on the grass. McFadzean is working with John [Lucas] and Will is grass-based as well. We won’t rush them at all.

“We’re lucky enough to have Dom back and up for selection on Saturday. He’s the only one out of the group, we’ve just got to make sure we’re doing the right things with them and I’m sure Dave and John will do that.”
