Pilgrims prospect Will Jenkins-Davies has been called up to a Wales under-17 training camp this week.
The young midfielder, who marked his international debut at under-16 level with a goal in the Victory Shield, has joined up with his international colleagues for a four-day camp in Cardiff.
Will was a part of the youngest ever youth squad to represent the Argyle Academy at last summer’s Super Cup (formerly known as the Milk Cup) in Northern Ireland, where the Pilgrims won the Vase Final against Mexican side Chivas Guadalajara on penalties.
Will was an unused substitute on that day but did gain some valuable playing time over the course of the tournament, which Argyle compete in every summer.
Now a regular in the Pilgrims’ under-18 team, Jenkins-Davies has already netted in two of the side’s three EFL Youth Alliance fixtures this season.
