New Website to Launch on Thursday

We are excited to reveal that our brand-new club website will launch on Thursday, 1 July.

The launch of our new website is the first significant milestone in the club’s enhanced digital service, which will also include an Argyle mobile app, and an ambitious and improved in-house streaming and video on demand service, Argyle TV.

Supporters will experience a range of benefits from our digital offering, including the ability to manage what content you receive from the club, and when.

To access our new website, the Green Army will not need to do anything different, simply visit pafc.co.uk through your web or mobile browser, or click-through from our social media channels. Please note, the website may take up to 24 hours to update for some users.

The app is still in its final stages of development, and will launch at a later date, while Argyle TV will replace the outgoing iFollow Argyle service for members of the Green Army, launching later in July. Further details on subscriptions and match passes will be available soon.

Argyle’s Head of Marketing and Communications, Jamie Yabsley, said: “We are tremendously excited to launch our new media offering next week.

“A lot of hard work has gone into ensuring the digital service for Argyle fans is the best it can possibly be, and we cannot wait to share it with the Green Army.”

George Crabb, Managing Director of Other Media, the digital agency behind the launch, said: “Having previously been a part of the EFL digital collective, the launch of this new website is a huge step forwards in the club’s digital evolution.

“Fans will enjoy a much-improved user experience, that is distinctly Argyle, and can look forward to the new app being launched very soon. We’re delighted to be on this journey with the club, their fans, and partners.”

Existing iFollow monthly pass holders will see that no further payment is taken from their account by EFL Digital after 1 July, and pro-rata refunds will be issued to any supporter with existing value left in their subscription.

Included in part of our exciting rebrand and digital upgrade, we have plans to bring all supporter-related services into one, easy to use, single sign-on [SSO] account – called the Argyle Account.

Supporters will need to link their existing Argyle Tickets account to the new Argyle Account system once it launches to ensure that their ticketing history is carried over. Further details and step by step guides will be made available in due course.

In the meantime, we understand that changing systems can be challenging for supporters, and we plan to make supporters’ migration across to the new Argyle Account as simple as possible.

More information will be available in due course as the Argyle Account nears launch, and the club will provide detailed guides and frequently asked questions to help supporters transition into the new service. In the meantime, we have compiled some initial information for supporters:

What is an Argyle Account?

The Argyle Account provides fans with a single online account to access the Club’s digital properties including our new look pafc.co.uk, ticketing (argyletickets.com) and our brand-new streaming platform, ArgyleTV.

Only one account with one password is now required ensuring a more consistent experience when making purchases online and reducing the chances of forgetting passwords or usernames. Supporters also now have greater control over how they hear from us through their Preference Centre.

Supporters will need to create their Argyle Account in order to purchase match tickets/season tickets or memberships online and also to be able to watch live matches and video on demand on ArgyleTV.

Supporters will be able to complete and update their personal details in the profile section of their Argyle Account and change their preferences on receiving marketing information from the Club.

We are working on adding the club’s Online Superstore, argylesuperstore.co.uk, to the single sign on soon.

Who needs an Argyle Account?

Everyone, including supporters already with existing ticketing or iFollow profiles. Supporters will need to create their Argyle Account in order to purchase match tickets/season tickets or memberships online and also to be able to watch live matches and video on demand on ArgyleTV.

When will I need to create my Argyle Account?

As soon as it is launched. An Argyle Account will need to be created in order to make any online purchases from the Club’s digital properties including our new look pafc.co.uk, ticketing (argyletickets.com) and our brand-new streaming platform, ArgyleTV.

Will the Argyle Account be used for Argyle Superstore purchases?

We are working on adding the club’s Online Superstore, argylesuperstore.co.uk, to the single sign on, and plan for this to be implemented at the earliest possible opportunity. This will mean you will then only need one set of login details for all of your online transactions with Argyle.
