Jemma, a former England Under-17 captain and Argyle youth prospect, returned to the club ahead of the 2022/23 campaign.

Jemma rose through the Centre of Excellence ranks and headed straight into the first team after her 16th birthday. Leaving Argyle to further her playing career, Jemma represented Bristol Academy and Birmingham City whilst on a two-year scholarship at Loughborough University’s FA Player Development Centre.

Later enrolling at Plymouth Marjon University, she rejoined Bristol and won the 2011 FA Young Player of the Season, Goal of the Season and earned minutes playing in the 2011/12 UEFA Champions League.

Jemma represented Great Britain and helped them to win Gold in the Summer Universiade in Kuzan, Russia. In 2014, Jemma signed for Arsenal and earned her sole England call-up. A proud Plymothian, Jemma’s experience and quality is vital to the development of Argyle’s young squad.
