SONNY signed for Argyle in the summer of 2016, following a two-year stint with Crawley Town.
A tall, commanding centre-back, Sonny started his career with Hull City, making his debut for the club as a half-time substitute in a Championship match against Coventry and going on to play 90 minutes against a Millwall side led up front by Harry Kane. He had previously gained match experience with loan spells at Harrogate and Aldershot, as well as time abroad with Swedish side IK Frej, making five appearances for them in the third tier of Swedish football.
He scored his first career goal there as well, in a game against Dalkurd FF. He later returned to Aldershot for a season-long laon, playing 48 games for them.
After being released by Hull that summer, he moved to Portsmouth, but spent just one season at Fratton Park, playing 39 games for the club before moving to Crawley Town for an undisclosed fee.
He made 79 appearances for Town over two seasons, scoring twice. He also took over captaincy duties, before contract renewal talks broke down over the summer.
Bradley made 51 appearances for the Pilgrims last season, scoring seven goals, including the winner against League Two rivals Doncaster Rovers, making himself a firm favourite with the crowds. Bradley was subsequently voted Argyle’s Player of the Year.
