JAKE Jervis scored fourteen goals for Argyle in his first season at Home Park, in 44 starts.

He played most of his football for Argyle on the right-wing of a 4-2-3-1 formation deployed by Derek Adams for much of the season. Jake re-united with Derek at Argyle, signing for the Pilgrims after a season in the Scottish Premiership with Ross County. Jake joined the Staggies after playing the second half of the 2013-14 season for Argyle’s League 2 rivals Portsmouth.
Prior to that, he spent six months with Turkish Süper Lig club Elazığspor. He scored four goals in 12 starts for Pompey. Jake graduated through Birmingham City Academy and was immediately loaned to League 2 Hereford United, for who he scored in his first two matches. In the 2011-12 and 2012-13 seasons, Jake played for six teams, starting with a brief Europa League qualifying appearance for Birmingham in the Blues’ home leg against against Nacional, of Portugal.
He then joined League 2 Swindon Town. After 14 appearances and five goals, Jake moved on to League 1 Preston North End and scored two goals in five outings at Deepdale, before completing the season’s circle by playing for Birmingham in another cup-tie, a 1-1 draw at Chelsea in the FA Cup. Jake joined League 1 Carlisle United, scoring three goals in five matches. He then went back out on loan again - and bagged three goals in four games for Tranmere Rovers. Another loan, to Portsmouth, followed before being recalled by Birmingham, where he played twice. He then joined Elazığspor and scored against Fenerbahçe, but that proved to be the high point of a difficult time abroad. He picked his career up at Fratton Park, earning his move to Ross County and scored four goals in 28 appearances for the Staggies.
