Date of birth
IN the January transfer window of the 2016-2017 season, Nathan became the first player that Argyle had paid a fee for in nearly five years when he camed to Home Park.
Nathan made his way from South to West Devon, leaving Torquay in favour of Argyle, having scored 12 goals in 41 appearances for the Gulls since signing for them in January 2016.
He is a 6ft 4in centre-forward who looks to use his height and power to lead the line, and has done so to good effect. He was in the Torquay line-up – and scored a penalty – when Argyle met the Gulls at the Launa Windows Stadium in 2016-17 pre-season, and is the nephew of former Watford and England striker Luther Blissett.
Nathan’s eye-catching spell at Evostik League Division One South side Romulus propelled him to Kidderminster Harriers in 2012. From there, he had loan spells at Cambridge United, Hednesford Town and Bristol Rovers, eventually joining the latter on a permanent basis.
He was part of the Rovers team promoted to the EFL in 2014-15, then had loan spells at Tranmere Rovers and Lincoln City before arriving in Devon, and eventually, Argyle, for who he scored his first goal – of the two that he netted last season - for the Pilgrims in a 1-1 draw away to Wycombe Wanderers. he followed that with the late winner in the Pilgrims last home match that put them top of the table.
