GRAHAM signed for Derek Adams for the second time in his career this summer after a previous spell with Argyle’s manager at Ross County, and went on to be named 2015-2016 Pilgrim of the Year.
This was in no small part down to the 12 goals that Graham scored, and the 14 assists that the left-footed midfielder made in his first season at Home Park. One of the assists included a corner that Peter Hartley scored from in the last minute of the Play-off semi-final second-leg to send Argyle to Wembley for the second time in the club's history.
The Irish midfielder played 58 times for Ross County over two seasons. Born in Blanchardstown, Graham was recruited by Celtic, aged 16, from Shelbourne’s youth system in 2005. He was loaned out to Bohemians in 2009 and helped them to retain their title. He also represented his country at Under-21 level. Known for his attack-minded mentality and excellent quality from dead-ball situations, Graham then joined Scottish Premier League side St Mirren on loan for the end of the 2009-10 season.
He left a lasting impression at the Buddies during his 17 appearances – so much so that, after a short loan at Huddersfield Town, he signed for St Mirren on a permanent basis in July 2011. Graham had a memorable 2012-13 season with St Mirren, winning the Scottish League Cup as well as the Clydesdale Bank Goal of the Season award for a 35-yard wonder-strike against Hearts.
