Community Job Opportunities

We are now receiving applications for the roles of Health and Disability Officer, and Community Cohesion Officer to join our team at Home Park.

The Health and Disability Officer will be responsible for delivering programmes across Plymouth to help engage groups of people who can often be very difficult to reach.

The successful applicant will deliver sports coaching within disability projects, as well as working to create health projects that are designed to hit local priority health targets that are linked to Plymouth’s health strategy.

Our Community Cohesion Officer will work very closely with Plymouth City Council’s Sports Development Unit to deliver programmes that engage individuals in the community through the power of sport.

We are looking for candidates with a solid understanding of community cohesion and the confidence to control and inspire challenging groups and individuals in youth centres, local estates and sports centres across the region.

As a registered charity, the Community Trust works – in close conjunction with Plymouth Argyle Football Club – with many people across several sectors where sport has proven to be the ideal tool for creating lasting engagement with individuals.
