Fire Warning
WE are all looking forward to renewing our long-standing intense, but essentially sporting, rivalry with Exeter City this weekend.
We know that, as a result of selling out our allocation of tickets within minutes of going on sale, Ryan Lowe and the boys are guaranteed fantastic support at St James Park. Thank you for getting behind the team again.
We endorse the Police appeal earlier this week that anyone without a ticket should not travel to Exeter.
We would also remind those supporters who are attending the game to be mindful of the help that they will receive from the Police and the Exeter City stewards, and to respect ground regulations and the law.
That includes being in possession of a pyrotechnic device - the use of pyrotechnics, such as smoke devices and flares, is a criminal offence.
Supporters using, attempting to use, or merely taking to a ground any pyrotechnic device will be banned from attending all football matches in this country for at least three years.
Flares, smoke bombs or fireworks - have no place in any football stadium.
It is not fun; it is not acceptable; it is not legal.
