Premier League Cup tie postponed
Argyle’s Premier League Cup qualifying tie with Exeter City has been postponed at the request of Exeter City.
The game was due to be played at Home Park on Wednesday, 18 August.
The winners of this tie will go into the group stage of the competition where they will face Wolverhampton Wanderers, Swansea City and West Ham United.
The competition is predominantly for players aged 23 and under, with clubs able to play three ‘older’ outfield players and one goalkeeper, in each match.
The Premier League is working with both clubs to see whether it will be possible to rearrange to another date before the group stage starts
