Vacancy | Academy Performance Analyst

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a performance analyst to further their career by joining our ever-improving and ambitious Academy.

The role begins in July 2022, averaging 20 hours per week, and works closely with the Academy Manager and age group lead coaches to film, code, and analyse fixtures. 

Applicants must have a strong work ethic, ability to work flexibly and independently, and have a working knowledge of coding and video editing software. Candidates must hold or be enrolled on a degree or equivalent qualification in sport. Experience  within a professional sporting setting is desirable.

Argyle has strong values and any successful applicant will demonstrate those values through their behaviours and will ensure their team and the players also understand and adhere to those values. The role requires a DBS check and verification of qualifications and experience as well as successful references.

The club is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This role involves the supervision of and working with children and young people. As the role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974, the applicant must disclose all previous convictions including spent convictions.
