Under 8 Season Ticket Policy

The 22/23 title-winning season will live long in the memory of all Argyle supporters, and we are delighted to be say that prices have been frozen for the youngest members of the Green Army for the sixth successive season, ensuring that the next generation of Argyle fan can continue to build their connection with their club.

Continuing with this pricing model underlines Argyle’s commitment to becoming the number one destination for families and young people in the region. The 22/23 season saw the club awarded with an EFL Family Excellence Gold Award and our goal is to build a strong fanbase for generations to come.

Whilst we are keen to ensure the next generation of Argyle supporters continues to grow, we saw an increasing number of empty seats in the 22/23 season, and many of these were down to non-attending under 8 season ticket holders, this needs to be resolved.

Therefore, a new policy is being introduced to reduce the number of empty seats on a match day - this is known as the warning or ‘yellow card’ system for our under 8 season ticket holders.

What does this mean?

  • A new policy is being introduced to reduce the number of empty seats at Home Park on match days.
  • You need to ‘use’ your season ticket for as many games as possible. If you miss a number of games, you risk losing the right to renew this for the 24/25 season.
  • If you don’t use your season card for a home league match, you will get a warning or ‘yellow card’. If you get four yellow cards between the start of the 2023/24 season and the season ticket renewal date in 2024, you will lose the right to renew for the 2024/25 season

You will be deemed to have ‘used’ your season card / seat for a game providing you do one of the following:

  • You come to the game and have your season card scanned on arrival.
  • You list your season ticket seat on the Ticket Exchange for sale prior to 10am on the day of the game.
  • You list your season ticket seat on the Ticket Exchange for sale after 10am on the day of the game - and it sells. If it does not sell and you have listed it after 10am on the day of the game, this will not count as using it.

Frequently Asked Questions.

What happens if the whole family cannot attend?

You should list all tickets on the ticket exchange.

Will there be any other reasons accepted for non usage?

No. We don't believe that there are any reasons that you should either attend or list your seat for sale on the ticket exchange.

Of course, there might be times where last minute issues force a change of plans, and this is why we are giving three warnings / yellow cards before taking any action.

Will there be an appeals process if I am not happy with the outcome?

Yes. You must appeal in writing, no longer than 7 days after receiving a yellow card to tickets@pafc.co.uk stating the reasons for the appeal.
