Argyle Ladies 3 Keynsham 3 - Report

Argyle Ladies let slip a two-goal lead but fought back to earn a draw against Keynsham Town Ladies on Sunday.

Argyle made the perfect start, taking the lead in the first minute when Moseley got to the byline down the left and pulled back the ball to Rose on the edge of the area who hit it first time low into the far corner.

Things got better in the eighth minute when Moseley hooked the ball high into the net after Rose's corner was only parried by the Keynsham goalkeeper.

Keynsham got back into the game in the 25th minute when a cross from the right was not dealt with by the Argyle defence allowing a glancing header to sneak into the far corner.

Keynsham drew level two minutes later after a cross from the left wing was met at the far post for a tap in. It got worse for Argyle when the hosts took the lead with a well worked goal in the 38th minute.

Argyle started the second half with the same tempo as the first and got their reward in the 50th minute after they were awarded a free kick half way in the Keynsham half. Whilst the defence were trying to organise themselves it was taken quickly to Mousley who found herself free on the left and fired it past the keeper to score on her debut.

Argyle then began to press to find a winner and nearly found it in the 60th minute but Mousley's fierce shot was well saved by the Keynsham keeper.
