He's Coming Home, He's Coming...

FORMER Pilgrim Jack Stephens has received his first call-up to the England under-20 squad - in time for the Three Lions' visit to Home Park.

Jack, who is from Torpoint, is currently on loan at Swindon Town from Southampton, but came through Argyle's development system, joining the club at age 11. He made five appearances for the Pilgrims before moving to Saints, just prior to his 18th birthday. He has already represented England at under-18 and under-19 level.

He may well play when England take on the USA's under-20 team at Home Park on Sunday, March 29. Before they head to Devon, Aidy Boothroyd's Young Lions will take on Mexico at Barnet's Hive four days previous.

Jack is joined in the squad by Christian Walton, a 19-year-old goalkeeper who was born in Truro and left Argyle aged 17 to join Brighton & Hove Albion. Matt Grimes, who recently left Exeter to join Swansea, is in the squad, but Plymouth-born Lloyd Jones, on loan at Accrington from Liverpool, misses out.

Tickets are priced at £3 for adults and £1.50 for concessions. Call our ticket office on 0845 872 3335 for more information or to buy your tickets.
